Urban Promise Street Leader Program
The
Cherry Hill Rotary Club made a commitment to help disadvantaged youth
in Camden, NJ, one of the poorest cities in the country by supporting
Urban Promise’s Street Leader program. This program helps over 80
Camden teens each summer, who will learn job skills training, participate
in workshops dealing with workplace issues, learn how to conduct themselves
in interviews. The teens also make a difference in their community by
mentoring, counseling, supervising and coaching younger children in their
neighborhoods.
